About Me
Hi, I’m David — a Software Engineer based in Lisbon. I’m currently a Staff Engineer at Moonpay, focusing on payments. Before that, I also worked as a Staff Engineer at Truphone and spent a few years in the media industry at Sky and Grupo Impresa.
Most of my career has been spent building backend microservices, with some detours into web/mobile development and untangling legacy monoliths. I have the most experience with Java, but the latest years have been spent working primarily with TypeScript
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me gaming, tinkering with side projects, brewing beer, going for a run, or watching motorsport.
